We Were Born Old & Proud of It

"In the business world, everyone is paid in two coins: Cash and experience. Take the experience first; the cash will come later."

Harold Geneen, an American businessman

We were born old and proud of it.

The more you learn about Texas Aerospace Technologies, the more you'll understand why I chose this blog's title.

When our parent company, Texas Aerospace Services, opened our doors a little over a year ago, our core team of experts already possessed nearly a century's worth of combined military, commercial, and business aviation experience.

And what has all that combined experience taught us? Now more than ever, our customers need a "partner" they can rely on. Our industry is facing challenging times with parts obsolescence, personnel shortage, and distribution hurdles. Texas Aerospace Technologies was established to be that "partner." Our team is exceptionally skilled in all facets of the design, development, manufacturing, certification, stocking, and distribution of aviation parts and components.

As your comprehensive resource, we become an extension of their team; when the customer comes first, the customer will last. From marketing & sales to technical training and troubleshooting, locating hard-to-find parts to developing and producing FAA TSO & PMA parts, we routinely complete the unachievable.

For example, operators found it increasingly difficult and expensive to purchase tri-axial accelerometers for an upcoming mandate. So, in response to requests by our customers, we partnered with a leading engineering firm to design, develop and earn an FAA TSO for a new-generation solution.

Our new TXA201 Tri-Axial Accelerometer replaces a legacy product with next-generation MEMS (Micro-Electrical Mechanical Systems) technology. The MEMS are responsible for converting gravitational and inertial forces into DC voltage output for the three-axis requirements – lateral, longitudinal, and vertical – required by Flight Data Recorders and Flight Data Acquisition Units.  If that sounds like rocket science, it's not far off. But, because of its complexity and cost, it's a project no other company was willing to undertake. We were. And we did. The result? The aviation industry now has a more reliable and affordable alternative to legacy systems' archaic and costly repairs.

And that's just one example of what we can do.

You've got a friend in the business.

Another area where our team’s many years of industry experience benefits our customers is the deep and long-standing relationships we have with the largest OEMs and suppliers.

Between supply chain disruptions and production delays, even typically off-the-shelf parts and components can be challenging to find.

Our vast network of trusted sources gives us the significant advantage of being able to pull products that other companies don’t have inventory of. That means in so many instances where other stocking facilities can’t meet your needs; we can.

So, whether it’s delivering a critical part or creating a complete STC’d solution, every solution begins with a straightforward question; What can we do for you?
